Job Title: Direct Support Professional 1

Bridgewell is a leading provider of social and human services that empower individuals with disabilities and other life challenges to live safe, self-directed, and productive lives. As a Direct Support Professional 1, you will play a vital role in supporting and assisting individuals in Level 1 residential programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and assistance with skills training in all activities of daily living.
  • Create opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and foster independence.
  • Provide services according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Support individuals with medical, clinical, and financial needs.
  • Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
  • Maintain required documentation according to regulatory standards.
  • Assist individuals with accessing resources and recreational opportunities in the community.
  • Administer medications according to MAP regulations.
  • Maintain core training certifications, including FA/CPR, PABC, and MAP.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED - Associate's Degree or DSP Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
