Job Summary

Bridgewell is a leading provider of social and human services, empowering individuals with disabilities and life challenges to live safe, self-directed, and productive lives. We're seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional 1 to join our team and provide support and assistance in Level 1 residential programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support and skills training to individuals with disabilities, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Assist with medical, clinical, and financial needs, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.
  • Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records, adhering to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
  • Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or DSP Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and minimum 1 year of driving experience.
