We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant or LPN Clinic to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and staff.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, taking and recording vital signs as needed.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms, maintaining medical supplies and equipment.
- Administer injections, apply splints and dressings, and facilitate simple wound management under provider orders.
- Transport specimens and assist with scheduling patients for tests and appointments.
- Maintain patient files, records, and other information, including entry into electronic medical records.
- Provide phone screening of patients to clinical staff and physicians.
- Collaborate with various personnel and departments to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program, or accredited State Board of LPN Program.
- Minimum of one year experience in a medical office preferred.
- Current Registered or National Medical Assistant Certification, or Alaska LPN License.
