We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to fill an anticipated long-term substitute position in the Leominster Public Schools district. This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and make a meaningful impact on their communication skills.

About the Position

This 12-week position is expected to start in February 2025 and will involve working with children from birth to age five. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and assessing children's communication skills, developing and implementing individualized programs, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication strengths and weaknesses
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions to address speech and language deficits
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and partnerships
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $90,000 and $125,000, based on qualifications and experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
