The Henry is a part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, a dynamic and innovative line of restaurants founded in 1998. Our restaurant is a premier dining destination, offering a unique blend of elegance and casual charm. We're seeking a skilled Host/Hostess to join our team.

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Host/Hostess to provide exceptional hospitality to our guests. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for managing the flow of guests, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all guests.
  • Manage the flow of guests, controlling the pace of the door and communicating with managers to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the menu and be able to make genuine recommendations to guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring a positive first impression for our guests.
  • Work effectively in a high-volume environment, responding to on-the-fly requests with ease and poise.
  • Understand POS systems and digital reservation systems, ensuring seamless communication with the front-of-house team.
  • Be available to work weekends and some holidays, as well as fill in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of upscale host experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
