About the Job

We are seeking a Grants Management Coordinator to join our team at Downtown Women's Center. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing grants and budgets, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and regulations. This is a full-time exempt position with a salary range of $65,000-$80,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grant Compliance: Collaborate with programs team to ensure compliance with grant requirements and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare grant budgets for government and/or foundation/corporate funding applications, as well as grant invoices/financial reports and budget modifications, as required by funders.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze monthly grant financial reports, evaluate budgets versus actuals, and maintain expenditure controls.
  • Financial Systems: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with major coursework in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience needed; nonprofit accounting experience and familiarity with grants management preferred.
  • Ability to apply DWC accounting policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office required.
