Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator I to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the execution of all IC3NS support for the CTC mission at JRTC and Fort Johnson under the Joint Readiness Training Center Support Contract (JRTC-SC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Provide administration of network and communications systems, including Radio Access Network (RAN) and Element Management System (RAN EMS).
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot all IC3NS network related issues, provide onsite support to IC3NS contact team to identify and resolve issues.
  • Customer Support: Provide customer support to troubleshoot issues that arise during the use of the system by BLUFOR, OPFOR, Role Players, OCTs, and other users of the IC3NS network.
  • Data Collection: Perform data collection for performance evaluation, while being responsible for connectivity of the infrastructure for rotational training.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Create monitoring reports and manage equipment logs; ensure the functionality of links.
  • Resource Management: Identify, analyze, and document long-range requirements and administer resources related to the enterprise network.
  • Technical Planning: Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions, including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions.
  • Compliance: Research applicable standards and requirements documents to assure network compliance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Plan for and provide reasonable responsiveness in terms of network performance (e.g., availability, reliability, and throughput).
  • Reporting: Prepare activity and progress reports for the Government regarding network performance initiatives.
  • Security: Enforce system access, operation, maintenance, and disposition requirements.
  • Certification: Maintain industry certification in accordance with DOD M and DODD for IAT Level II.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum experience of three years performing Network Administration; DoD experience preferred.
  • Certifications: CompTia Security+ certification (required upon hire), Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Clearance: Secret clearance (required).
