Job Summary

Fotona is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to provide technical support and service to our customers in the New England and US regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photonics, electronics, or biomedical engineering, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs on laser systems
  • Instruct customers and staff on equipment applications and operations
  • Submit timely and accurate service reports and paperwork
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and maintain a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Technical Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience with photonics, electronics, or biomedical engineering
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75% and work flexible hours
