Job Summary

The Sustainable Production Supervisor is a key member of our team at Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, responsible for overseeing the staff and operations involved in sorting and pricing wares/clothing. This role requires ensuring that all related functions and activities are carried out efficiently, while administering company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of sustainability and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Logistics Manager in supervising the staff involved in the sorting and pricing of wares/clothing.
  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day workflow of employees.
  • Assist with performance evaluations and employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Implement and maintain sustainable practices in the production process.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and insured/reliable vehicle.
  • Background check.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak/read/write proficient English. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills, as needed.
  • Excellent customer service, sales, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
