Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Shift Audio Engineer to join our post-production audio team for the upcoming 2024 NFL Season. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing game sound, syncing daily footage, and editing game radio broadcasts on Sundays. On Mondays through Thursdays, they will be digitizing legacy audio material from 16mm Mag audio tracks into DaVinci Resolve/Fairlight workstations, critically monitoring audio playback, accurately labeling, and archiving files to attached storage systems, and logging recording details in a database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process game sound and sync daily footage on Sundays
  • Digitize legacy audio material from 16mm Mag audio tracks into DaVinci Resolve/Fairlight workstations on Mondays through Thursdays
  • Critically monitor audio playback and accurately label and archive files to attached storage systems
  • Log recording details in a database

Requirements:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) with experience in Resolve/Fairlight systems a plus
  • Background in general aspects of digital audio recording and signal flow
  • Familiarity with multiple computer platforms and file management
  • Availability to work on weekends during the NFL season

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent education
  • 3 years of experience in Post-Production Audio environment

Other Key Attributes/Characteristics:

  • Detail oriented, patient, and consistent problem solver

Terms/Expected Hours of Work:

  • 40-45 hours/week
