Facilities Maintenance Specialist

The Maintenance Technician I is a vital member of the Villa St. Benedict team, responsible for ensuring the facility, grounds, and equipment are safe, well-maintained, and attractive.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general custodial tasks, including removing trash, washing windows/walls, moving furniture and supplies, and filling in housekeeping duties as needed.
- Conduct floor care, including cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning throughout the facility.
- Assist with building maintenance and construction work as needed on all surfaces, interior or exterior of the facility.
- Support grounds maintenance, including lawn care, snow removal, and other tasks as required.
- Perform general repairs to facility and residents' equipment.
- Operate various hand and power tools, and may be required to use machines such as floor care, grounds-keeping, and maintenance equipment safely.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Building and grounds maintenance experience is also preferred.
- A valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements are necessary.
Villa St. Benedict offers a competitive salary range of $21.00-$23.20.
