Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Chief Culinary Officer to become a vital part of our dynamic and expanding restaurant team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in culinary leadership, demonstrating the ability to inspire and collaborate effectively with kitchen personnel.

Your responsibilities will include achieving food and labor cost objectives for the kitchen.

You will be tasked with developing and documenting new menu offerings, overseeing all kitchen staff, ensuring quality control, and managing inventory and procurement.


Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all food preparation activities, from initial prep to final service

Ensure the quality of all food and beverages served

Monitor, record, and maintain inventory levels for food, beverages, and kitchen supplies

Assign daily tasks to sous chefs and kitchen staff; track their progress throughout the day

Oversee the entire kitchen team and ensure efficient operations

Manage the ordering and logistics of food supplies for the week

Coordinate repairs and maintenance of kitchen equipment

Design and oversee plating and presentation techniques for all dishes

Recruit and train new kitchen personnel

Address and resolve any issues that arise in the kitchen promptly

Research and apply new culinary trends

Maintain a sanitary kitchen environment and comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations

Position Requirements

2-year Culinary Arts degree and/or relevant culinary certification

5+ years of experience in a head chef or managerial kitchen role

ServSafe certification

Extensive knowledge of culinary arts, including emerging food trends

Proficient in using a variety of complex kitchen equipment

Strong and clear communication skills

Expertise in meal planning, design, and preparation

Exceptional time management and organizational abilities

Demonstrated leadership and creativity in the kitchen

Skilled problem solver who excels under pressure

Outstanding customer service skills
