Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Mass Spectrometry Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing complex analytical tests on blood, tissue, and body fluids to aid healthcare providers in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain sophisticated mass spectrometry instrumentation, including HPLC, LC/MS/MS, and GC/MS.
  • Perform troubleshooting and quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret test results and provide valuable insights for patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new testing protocols and procedures.
  • Work closely with the therapeutic drug and vitamin testing teams to optimize testing processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Life Science field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, etc).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory setting, with minimal supervision.
