Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing in specialized laboratories using manual techniques or automated testing with sophisticated instrumentation.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot assays, and evaluate tests for accuracy.
  • Assist with interpreting results and provide operational support to optimize testing.
  • Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.
  • May work with minimal supervision and assist with specimen collection.
  • Adhere to safety protocols when working with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science is required.
  • Preferred: Ability to produce accurate results under time constraints, multi-task, and perform in a fast-paced and changing environment.
