Responsibilities:


  • Collect and process blood samples from patients of all ages to aid in diagnosis and treatment
  • Instruct patients on the collection of various specimen types
  • Maintain accurate patient identification, specimen integrity, and sample labeling
  • Interact with customers in a pleasant, efficient, and cooperative manner
  • Work cooperatively with peers, provide constructive feedback, and participate in special projects
  • May be required to attend the Mayo Clinic phlebotomy training program


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of a phlebotomy training program with clinical rotation or 3 months of phlebotomy work experience
  • Must complete 2 years in this role before being eligible to transfer to other positions within Mayo Clinic


What We Offer:


  • Competitive hourly rate: $19.57-$27.02
  • Full-time schedule with 80 hours per pay period
  • Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm with every 8th Saturday 8am-noon
