Perinatal Department Manager

The Unit Manager will oversee the Mother Baby Care Unit (MBCU), Pediatrics, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role requires strong leadership skills to enable a collaborative working environment within the Family Birth & Newborn Center and facilitate interdepartmental communication and team building.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the MBCU, Pediatrics, and NICU
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Monitor and report on unit performance metrics
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for staff
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a perinatal department
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as NICU staff registered nurse
- Manager experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills required
- BS/BSN degree
- NRP certification
- BLS certification
