Job Description:

Veterinary Technicians at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua play a vital role in the care and treatment of animals in our shelter.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our medical team, preferably holding a Certified Veterinary Technician certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for animals by drawing blood, placing IV catheters, preparing patients for surgery, performing dental cleanings, and taking dental x-rays
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other staff members

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent
  • Strong passion for animal welfare and shelter medicine
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Salary and Benefits:

$45,000 annually, full-time position with competitive benefits package, including opportunities for growth and development within the Humane Society for Greater Nashua team
