Descripción de las Responsabilidades Primarias:
- Realiza exámenes, diagnósticos y tratamientos de pacientes hospitalizados.
- Gestiona la atención del paciente a lo largo de su experiencia en el hospital.
- Solicita tratamientos, pruebas y consultas con médicos especialistas y médicos de atención primaria cuando sea apropiado.
- Asegura la continuidad de la atención comunicándose con los proveedores y el personal de apoyo de Family HealthCare Network sobre admisiones, estado/progreso, alta y órdenes y recetas relevantes.
- Participa en actividades de mejora de calidad y revisión del personal médico en el hospital y en medidas clínicas relevantes de FHCN.
- Asiste a reuniones y educación del personal de FHCN según sea necesario.
- Asegura la documentación de los pacientes hospitalizados en el registro electrónico de salud de FHCN de manera oportuna.
- Es responsable de proporcionar un horario trimestral al Director Médico asignado.
- Seguirá las políticas y procedimientos relevantes de FHCN así como las políticas y procedimientos del hospital asignado.
- Asegura que toda la documentación de facturación se presente de manera precisa y oportuna.
- Es responsable de brindar atención con un alto nivel de servicio al cliente al paciente y su familia.
- Es responsable del estado del paciente según lo medido por las medidas de calidad clínica relevantes.
- Asiste en la supervisión de estudiantes de medicina de AT Still y/o proveedores de residencia.
- Cumple con las expectativas de la red y de acreditación para la licencia y el empleo.
- Realiza otras tareas según se le asigne.
Conocimientos Profesionales y Técnicos:
- El desempeño de las funciones y responsabilidades del puesto requiere la equivalencia de una extensa formación formal en Medicina Familiar o Medicina Interna, incluyendo un entendimiento de la aplicación de la teoría y prácticas de la profesión a las operaciones de la organización, generalmente en forma de un título de Doctor en Medicina o Doctor en Medicina Osteopática.
- Capacidad para crear documentos altamente complejos en Microsoft Word, incluyendo la vinculación de múltiples archivos y la incorporación de objetos vinculados a otros documentos.
- Capacidad para utilizar funciones avanzadas de Microsoft Excel, como crear y gestionar bases de datos, incluyendo la creación de informes estandarizados, o vincular múltiples hojas de cálculo y libros de trabajo.
- Capacidad para desarrollar presentaciones sofisticadas en Microsoft PowerPoint, incluyendo el uso de objetos incrustados, transiciones y otros elementos.
Habilidades de Comunicación:
