Ascend Medical Staffing: Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join our team at a 500-bed hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including routine check-ups, prenatal care, and surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Manage a high-volume patient load, with an average of 22-24 patients per shift.
  • Perform a range of procedures, including LEEPS, cryotherapy, colposcopy, IUDs, nexplanon, and endometrial biopsies.
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system to document patient information and track progress.
Work-Life Balance:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including $190 per hour, with a 1:6 beeper call schedule. Our full-time schedule includes 5 days per week, with one evening shift per week and one Saturday per month.

Requirements:
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
