Position Overview:
Accountable for the safe operation of company vehicles and the timely, courteous delivery of products to customers.

Position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle.
- Utilize Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Navigate vehicles and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles.
- Unload and deliver products to customers using various methods, including manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments.
- Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel.
- Complete delivery and pick-up documentation.
- Collect returned products as necessary.
- Gather company assets, including payments, carts, and pallets.
- Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles.
- Complete required company training and certifications.
- Maintain effective communication with shift supervisors, dispatch, and co-workers.
- Undertake additional projects or duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- At least 1 year of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent military driving experience.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Ability to lift products weighing between 25 lbs. and 50 lbs. regularly.
- Successfully pass a post-offer background check, DOT physical, and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience in customer service.
- Familiarity with handheld ordering devices and working in multi-temperature environments.
- Background in stocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading.
- Experience in foodservice distribution, grocery stores, or beverage delivery.
