Pipeline Integrity Engineer

Plains is seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join our Asset Integrity team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering tools, processes, and programs related to pipeline and facility integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement integrity management plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct needs analysis to identify potential integrity threats and develop preventive and mitigative measures
- Provide engineering support for pipeline integrity projects, including welding calculations, material selections, and defect evaluation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of integrity management plans
- Stay current with pipeline regulations, industry standards, and integrity assessment methods
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong understanding of facility equipment reliability, risk-based asset integrity management, and associated regulatory expectations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Compliance with Plains' Drug & Alcohol Policy, including pre-employment testing
