SPECTRAFORCE is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to contribute to the development of a data lake and data services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a platform using third-party and in-house reporting tools, modeling metadata.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support analytic technologies that provide timely, flexible, and structured access to customer data.
  • Work with business customers to understand their analytical and reporting needs and implement solutions to support those requirements.
  • Design and implement data models, warehouses, and ETL pipelines to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python, with experience in analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
  • Experience with distributed systems, data storage, and computing, including knowledge of AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
  • Experience with non-relational databases and data stores, including object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, and column-family databases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on end-to-end projects independently, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau or Power BI.
