Senior Maintenance Technician Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Elmington Property Management in Nashville, TN. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will oversee the entire maintenance process for our beautiful Highland East property.

About the Role

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will supervise a team of technicians, delegate tasks, and ensure that all work is done to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Work: Oversee the daily activities of maintenance staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry work as needed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all work is done in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of work performed, track inventory, and perform other administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license and any necessary trade licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical).
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
