Position Summary:

The Caregiver Time and Attendance Manager is responsible for overseeing market-specific time and attendance operations, including managing team performance and productivity. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate recording and compliance of caregiver time while consistently enhancing processes for greater efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of Caregiver Time & Attendance Coordinators, offering guidance, support, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with attendance policies, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) protocols, and privacy regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality and compliance audits to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and spearhead initiatives to optimize scheduling and attendance management.
  • Analyze attendance data to generate actionable insights for schedule maintenance, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and Care Supervision teams to address discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain time and attendance policies and procedures in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure effective communication and consistent enforcement of policies.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans related to time and attendance management.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, set measurable goals, and monitor team progress through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide constructive feedback, acknowledge successes, and address performance gaps.
  • Create and implement personalized development plans for team members, fostering skill enhancement and career growth.
  • Promote a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to new systems as necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience; prior leadership experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in time and attendance management, ideally within the home care or healthcare sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Electronic Visit Verification systems and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, including HIPAA.
