Position Title: In-Process Inspector AOI

Role Summary:
As an In-Process Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting circuit board assemblies produced in the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) department. Utilizing Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and/or X-ray (5DX) technology, your primary focus will be to uphold product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee SMT products at designated stations using AOI or 5DX technology.
  • Identify components, including part numbers, values, package sizes/shapes, placement, and solderability.
  • Document findings and communicate results to relevant personnel.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in operating AOI and/or 5DX equipment.
  • Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Availability for overtime as necessary.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is crucial.
  • Solder certification and experience in electronics or contract manufacturing are advantageous.
  • Background in electronics or contract manufacturing, along with knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines, is preferred.
