Tooling Technician

Aludyne is seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to join our team. As a Tooling Technician, you will be responsible for building and repairing all types of jigs, fixtures, tools, gauges, and dies.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints or work from verbal or written instructions to assemble and test complete tools and dies.
- Determine specifications for inspection of work using precision measuring and gauging tools.
- Perform hand operations involved in producing jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies.
- Use hand tools of the trade and manual machine tools to manufacture simple components.
- Fits and assembles jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies, and tests dies to produce a product to specifications.
- Assist other tooling personnel in the repair and maintenance of tooling and equipment.
- May work with product designers and customers to provide input to manufacturing capability on newly formed products.
- Understand and work with hydraulic circuits and components.
- Repair variety of dies and cavities meeting accuracy requirements.
- Attention to detail in performing work, checking work, and documenting to assure quality.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner with good housekeeping practices.
- Able to utilize PLEX system to view, follow, and document work instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Three years of experience in tooling trade.
- May require entry to confined spaces to perform welding operations.
- Confined spaces may be hot and with dim lighting.
- Office environment at workstation.
- Typical manufacturing environment when on shop floor.
