Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Support Specialist to join our team at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for assisting with warehouse operations, inventory management, and delivery of parts and items to regional shops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with receiving and processing inbound inventory
  • Transfer inventory to regional shops
  • Record parts being returned from regional shops
  • Pick up parts from vendors
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping warehouse floors and emptying trash/recycling
  • Receives and logs UPS and other truck deliveries
  • Checks inventory for discrepancies
  • Maintains storeroom security
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license in accordance with both State and Commission rules and regulations
  • No further experience or training is necessary except for specialized skills or licenses/certificates directly related to the job

As a seasonal employee of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, you will be eligible for specific health insurance benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week during your first 12 months of employment. You will also have access to credit union services and sick leave benefits.
