Community Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Community Outreach Counselor to join our team at The Edinburg Center, Inc. As a Community Outreach Counselor, you will be responsible for delivering recovery-oriented, evidenced-based, trauma-informed clinical interventions to individuals living in independent settings. You will work closely with our clinical staff to maintain a caseload of Persons Served and provide support and advocacy to individuals in need.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver recovery-oriented, evidenced-based, trauma-informed clinical interventions to individuals living in independent settings
* Maintain a caseload of Persons Served and provide support and advocacy to individuals in need
* Work closely with clinical staff to ensure effective delivery of services
Requirements:
* BA or BS preferred and at least one year of experience in the mental health field required
* Two years in the field preferred
* First Aid, CPR, and MAP certification within three months of hire required
* Skilled in the use of Microsoft Outlook within three months of hire required
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
