  • Proficient in operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, steamers, deep fryers, ovens, broilers, grills, mixers, kettles, and griddles.
  • Actively collaborates with staff to cook, prepare, plate, and assemble food for all outlets.
  • Delivers exceptional guest service to both internal and external guests.
  • Welcomes guests approaching the service area.
  • Requires reading and mathematical skills for recipes and measurements.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Basic English to read recipes and communicate with team members.
  • Adheres to procedures for managing food costs and maintaining quality.
  • Encourages compliance with all health codes and handwashing guidelines.
  • Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and menus to ensure product consistency for guests.
  • Capable of creating compound sauces and derivatives of mother sauces, including knowledge of Beurre Blancs.
  • Prepares written food requisitions for supplies and food items for production in the workstation – inventory management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Culinary school degree or 2-year technical college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary terminology.
  • Advanced understanding of culinary techniques and ability to execute recipes promptly.
  • Ability to work all stations in multiple assigned kitchens.
  • Capable of assisting in the training of Cook 1's and 2's in culinary skills.
  • Demonstrates expertise in breakfast cookery.
  • Advanced skills in meat, fish, and poultry preparation and cooking.
  • Proficient in meat, fish, and poultry fabrication techniques.
  • Advanced ability in soups, stocks, and sauce preparation.
  • Food safety certification from a recognized authority (e.g., ServSafe certification) preferred.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming/racing license as required.
