Facility HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team at ColonialWebb in Newport News. As a HVAC Facility Service Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, as well as, perform general maintenance repairs as needed for our customer's facility.

About the Role
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems
  • Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components
Requirements
  • Work experience as a Commercial Service Technician with a specialization in troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Journeyman HVAC license
  • Experience diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems and related controls
  • Experience with BAS, Hydronics and Refrigeration (preferred)
  • EPA certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
