The salary for this role is estimated to be between $110,000 and $130,000 per year, based on industry standards and the level of experience required.

Job Responsibilities

Key Job Functions

As a Controls System Specialist at Prime Partners, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive controls systems for our clients' buildings. This will involve providing technical support for installation personnel, conducting system start-ups and commissioning, debugging installation issues, and offering ongoing service support.

You will also contribute to estimating, design, and training efforts, as well as assist in maintaining documentation and providing support for existing installations and systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Provide controls database, graphics, and programming for sequences as directed.
  2. Conduct system start-up, commissioning, and point-to-point checkout.
  3. Support installation personnel and provide assistance to other contractors on-site.
  4. Debug installation issues and provide support to resolve building operating issues.
  5. Assist in estimation, design, installation, and training for building systems.
  6. Complete documentation and ensure timely software backups.
  7. Provide service support on existing installations and systems.
  8. Assist in preparing as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
  • Experience with computer operating systems, MS Office Suite, and networking.
  • Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and electronic diagrams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
