Job Overview

The System Administrator with Security Focus position at LMI Aerospace requires a highly skilled professional to provide technical support for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) F/A-18 & EA-18G Fleet Support Team In-Service Support Center at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for directly supporting the team by performing routine quarterly STIG compliance review, testing, and implementation as directed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine Administration for Windows Active Directory Environment, troubleshoot, and implement Group Policy Objects as directed.
  • Complete DISA STIG checklist for systems and write and maintain POA&Ms as required.
  • Assist current IT staff in continuous monitoring, Daily ACAS scans, and SCAP scanning, implementation, and troubleshooting of required weekly patch compliance for all client and server devices in the lab utilizing SCCM server.
  • Maintain configuration and security posture of information systems through continuous monitoring and routine security events/reporting like VRAM and MDE.
  • Provide technical support to customers, ranging from resolving technical issues to providing guidance and best-practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess at least three (3) years of experience in systems administration and a BS or BA degree in a Computer Science or relevant technical discipline. CompTIA Security+ certification is required, and within twelve months, commercial certifications in Windows Server (at least 2012) and Windows Client (Windows 10), or as directed by Server Admin Manager, are expected.

Compensation

The estimated hourly range for this position is $45.00-$50.00/hr, which may vary depending on location. LMI Aerospace offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and more.
