  • Perform mechanical duties with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, adhering to established Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure adherence to performance and safety standards in all areas of the shop.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Enhance our service department's reputation by taking ownership of new and challenging requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a mechanical or fabrication role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of truck equipment, including welding, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform component exchanges and repairs.
  • Knowledge of general mechanic work and welding techniques.
  • Welding experience or knowledge is preferred.
  • Must own and maintain a set of essential tools.
  • Must have the ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and manufacturer-written service manuals.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot breakdowns and diagnose issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with management, colleagues, and clients.
