About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team in Dallas, Texas.

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician 2 will be responsible for performing a variety of duties associated with cleaning, sterilization, processing, organizing and distributing patient equipment, instruments, supplies and products used in the care and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and sterilize medical equipment and instruments
  • Organize and maintain a clean and efficient work environment
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely delivery of sterilized equipment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 Year of Experience in Sterile Processing or related field
  • Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD), Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
