The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies, as well as maintaining a clean work area. This includes preparing instruments and packs for sterilization, operating sterilizers and decontamination equipment, and performing quality control functions. The incumbent will also answer telephone calls and communicate messages, as well as restock O.R. case carts.

Responsibilities:

Prepares instruments and packs for sterilization

Qualifications:

1 year of recent acute Sterile Tech experience in an acute care hospital is required. Sterile Technician Certification is also required. Previous experience as a Sterile Technician is preferred.
