Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to pediatric patients

  • Support on complex medical care issues

Requirements:

  • Accredited Medical Doctor with completed clinical/residency requirements
  • Current CA Physician license, DEA number, and NPI number
  • Admitting privileges at various Orange County hospitals
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish in the healthcare environment (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a medical setting
  • Ability to foster a safe environment where people will feel comfortable sharing private, pertinent information for effective treatment
  • Experience diagnosing and treating medical problems commonly experienced by homeless/underinsured patients
  • Understanding of the psychosocial factors involved in administering health services and treatment to homeless/underinsured patients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in a Community Clinic (FQHC)
  • 2 years of experience working with underserved populations
  • 2 years of experience in Pediatrics
