The University of California, Irvine is seeking a skilled Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assigned nursing procedures, including vital sign collection and specimen processing.
- Assist physicians with examinations and treatments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Observe, record, and report patient physical and mental conditions to healthcare professionals.
- Must possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform assigned duties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload and establish effective working relationships.
- Understanding of JCAHO requirements and knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese.
