Job Overview

This qualified medication aide position offers a rewarding career opportunity with a dynamic team. As a QMA, you will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians and according to established guidelines.
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as needed.
Requirements

We are looking for QMAs who have the heart to serve with a compassionate, engaged personality and a dedication to ensuring exceptional outcomes and a high degree of resident satisfaction. To qualify, you should have:

  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A STATE-APPROVED TRAINING PROGRAM IN MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION.
  • At least one-year of experience as a CNA or QMA in a long-term care setting is preferred.
