Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Fire Protection Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for selling new system designs, installations, and commissioning, as well as system modifications and upgrades to commercial, industrial, hospitality, and healthcare industries.
Key Responsibilities- Establish relationships with potential buyers through scheduled sales calls, follow-up on leads, and outlined marketing strategies
- Determine customer needs through site surveys and communicate effectively to educate customers about our capabilities
- Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support our sales plan
- Build and maintain new and existing customer relationships to ensure we meet or exceed their expectations
- Support other teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory
- Meet key objectives of our annual commission plan
- Three to five years' experience in the fire protection industry is preferred but not required
- Ability to create local and distance relationships with General Contractors
- Strong prospecting skills
- Proven ability to close
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Willingness to pass a post-offer drug test, background, and reference check
