About the Role

Chinook Fund is seeking a highly skilled Program Director to lead and develop all aspects of The Giving Project and community-led grantmaking. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Executive Director and involves supervising program staff.

About Chinook Fund

Chinook Fund seeds community-led, systemic change by mobilizing resources for and trusting in grassroots social justice organizations across Colorado. We have awarded over $3.6 million in grants to more than 380 groups since our founding in 1987.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000, with the possibility of relocation support for top candidates. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements
  • Excellent social justice analysis and community organizing skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage volunteers from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong project management and facilitation skills

The ideal candidate will have experience in curriculum design, grassroots fundraising, and community organizing. They should be able to motivate and engage volunteers and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We envision our staff as a fully collaborative team in service to our mission, which includes fundraising, planning, administration, and other support as necessary.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000, based on location and industry standards.
