Shift Timings: Morning Shift 7:00-19:00 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee patient care strategies. Track, document, and relay patient status as necessary.
  • Act as the main coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-organized patient care.
  • Execute and fulfill physician and nursing directives.
  • Evaluate and coordinate the patient's discharge planning requirements with the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • The Registered Nurse is accountable for delivering safe patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provides direct patient care within the defined scope of practice.
  • The Registered Nurse also leads and guides patient/family education and the activities of other nursing staff while upholding care standards in the ICU.
  • The Registered Nurse is directly responsible for the care provided to assigned patients; communicates with the physician regarding changes in the patient's clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic study results, and abnormal findings.
  • Must respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or treatment responses.
  • Ensures patient privacy and confidentiality are maintained.
Qualifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about providing quality patient care.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of RN ICU experience.
  • Graduate from an accredited RN program.
  • Active unencumbered RN California state license.
Requirements:
  • COVID vaccination with two shots and a booster.
