As a Digital Video Producer II at ESPN, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies for various audio and video podcasts. This includes working closely with the podcast leadership team, talent, and digital audio/video business stakeholders to create engaging and informative content.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and advancing ideas and concepts for daily productions and long-term planning
* Understanding and executing ESPN content priorities in planning episodes and integrating with other ESPN platforms
* Supervising the compilation and editing of materials necessary for production on all relevant platforms
* Collaborating with ESPN colleagues to develop compelling multi-platform content
* Developing and maintaining thorough knowledge of sports stories, trends, and newsmakers
* Identifying and booking relevant guests for show appearances
* Assisting in the recruitment and development of guest talent
* Developing editorial guidelines for on-air commentators
* Working with sales and marketing teams to ensure fit and fulfillment of ad inventory within shows

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum 8 years of experience in podcast, digital, or broadcast production
* Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team and direct reports

Preferred Qualifications:

* Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
* Experience with remote recording software such as Zoom, Squadcast, or Riverside
* Experience as a solo field producer
* Experience with DSLR cameras
* Experience in news and journalism

Required Education:

* High School Education

Preferred Education:

* Undergraduate or graduate degree

Note: The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, California is $101,900 - $137,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
