Description:
The Educational Support Specialist will collaborate with a diverse group of students, including those with multiple disabilities and autism, under the guidance of both special education and general education instructors. The primary focus will be to provide academic and physical support to enhance student progress towards their individual goals.
This role encompasses assisting students throughout their daily activities and requires adaptability to various classroom environments. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:therapeutic interventions, mobility assistance, personal care tasks, grooming, feeding, participation in physical activities, swimming, field trips, life skills training, and any additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervising educator or school administration.
Qualifications:
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to support all educational activities effectively.
Applicants must be capable of aiding in instructional processes, documenting student progress as necessary, and assisting with personal hygiene and care routines.
Flexibility and the ability to respond to changes in scheduling as directed by the supervising educator or administration are essential.Salary: According to Salary Schedule
