Job Summary

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards. This role involves supervising the entire Housekeeping Department, including rooms, front and back of house, public areas, and laundry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operational Management: Monitor and direct all Housekeeping and Laundry personnel, ensuring the proper use of radio etiquette and efficient communication.
  • Quality Control: Inspect rooms daily, ensuring compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Training and Development: Train all Housekeeping personnel to perform their duties to Aimbridge Hospitality standards, using the steps to effective training.
  • Guest Services: Ensure that employees are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and other employees.
  • Reporting and Administration: Complete all reports in a timely and efficient manner, as required by management, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field, or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience, or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is required.
  • Skills: Must be proficient in Windows operating systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing, and have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
