Senior Systems and Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and systems to ensure seamless operations and high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements, including compute, storage, network, and virtualization technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, including diagrams, technical notes, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and recommend innovative solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency and scalability.
- Participate in capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure optimal resource utilization and minimize waste.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with company regulations and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering, with a focus on compute, storage, network, mobility, or virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with accessibility best practices and implementation of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
- Knowledge of assistive technologies and digital accessibility.
