Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff, Systems and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our technical infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain technical infrastructure to support business applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and improve infrastructure performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and other stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering, with a focus on compute, storage, network, mobility, or virtualization-related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with cloud security, compliance, and governance.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience with implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager.
