Position Overview:
KEITH is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor and Mapper to enhance our Survey and Mapping division.
We pride ourselves on our dynamic work environment and are looking for individuals who embody positivity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Land Surveyor and Mapper, you will:
- Supervise daily operations of both field and office personnel across various projects and clients from initial proposal to final deliverables.
- Oversee project management from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to KEITH's quality benchmarks and client requirements.
- Engage in strategic planning and implement processes to optimize operational efficiency.
- Prepare and manage proposals, budgets, timelines, invoicing, and contracts.
- Sign and seal plats, field notes, and control drawings as necessary.
- Establish work plans and determine staffing needs for multiple projects.
- Participate in business development initiatives and foster strong client relationships.
- Develop and deliver presentations to clients and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with sub-consultants and other business partners.
- Provide support to various operational units as required.
- Represent company interests at meetings and industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in a professional or managerial role.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in project and phase management.
- Strong proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, ORD Open Roads, and the MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate assignments and deliverables to team members.
- The capability to mentor, lead, and inspire a team.
- A Professional License is preferred.
