As a skilled and compassionate nurse, you'll direct the care of patients through the nursing process, collaborating with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Continuously assessing patient needs through a holistic approach and communicating any changes in patient condition to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Adjusting treatment based on the multidisciplinary plan of care.
- Planning, delivering, directing, coordinating, and evaluating therapeutic interventions based on the assessment process.
- Providing patient and family education regarding the disease process, treatment side effects, and health promotion.
- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and accrediting agencies.
Requirements include:
- Current Georgia State Registered Nurse License.
- BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date.
- Current BLS required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire).
- Current ACLS required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire).
- 1-3 years RN experience in a bedside care setting preferred.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Recent ICU and/or step down experience preferred.
