We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Newnan Health & Rehab, a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing the highest level of care in our communities.


Salary: $16 to $20/hour, plus shift differentials and weekly pay.


As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Job Description:



  • Providing daily care to patients, including personal grooming and hygiene, oral care, skin care, and assistance with bathing, dressing, and bathroom activities.
  • Assisting patients in and out of bed and into wheelchairs, using transfer belts correctly.
  • Taking vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and respiration, and recording information.
  • Assisting patients to the dining area for meals, and documenting intake of nourishment.
  • Providing personal grooming services, such as brushing hair, trimming fingernails and toenails, and shaving.
  • Turning patients intermittently if bedridden due to illness.
  • Documenting and reporting information regarding patients' health, I&O, medical conditions, and care given.
  • Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers as requested.
  • Understanding and utilizing care plans.
  • Identifying the four basic food groups on sample meals.
  • Applying and releasing restraints, providing exercise, and practicing proper body mechanics while moving/transferring patients.
  • Providing range of motion exercises and recognizing signs/symptoms of abuse or change in condition.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the State of Georgia.
