**Job Summary**

Talent Software Services is seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our internal audit team, you will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of key internal controls for financial reporting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Plan and Execute Fieldwork**: Develop and execute plans to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, including risk assessments and testing procedures.
  • **SOX Testing and Compliance**: Perform SOX testing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • **Audit Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain detailed and general reviews of work paper documentation, and assist with reporting.
  • **Stakeholder Engagement**: Interact with management and stakeholders to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvement.
  • **Audit Process Improvement**: Maintain awareness of internal control audit trends to ensure audit processes remain effective.

**Requirements:**

  • **Experience with Automated Work Papers**: Proficiency in using automated work papers, preferably Workiva Wdesk tool.
  • **Education and Certifications**: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or business administration required. Advanced degree or certification (CPA, CISA, CIA) a plus.
  • **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word).
  • **Analytical and Communication Skills**: Excellent analytical and written and oral communication skills.
  • **Time Management and Leadership**: Strong time management skills and ability to exercise independent judgment on basic projects and assignments.
